From WPE-2008 to SPT2009
WPE-2008 last week was a successful event with a full program of lively talks and tutorials. To keep the momentum going, the Workshop on Philosophy and Engineering is pleased to announce its affiliation with a special track on Reflective Engineering at the Society for Philosophy & Technology meeting in Twente, 8-10 July 2009 (Wednesday-Friday). WPE-2008 committee member, Darryl Farber, will chair the track and more information will be posted about the track on the WPE website here.

Authors and speakers at the Workshop on Philosophy and Engineering (WPE-2008) who would like to post their presentation or paper files have two ways to share. Send a copy of the ppt or pdf file you would like posted to Dave Goldberg (deg@illinois.edu) and it will be uploaded to the WPE SlideShare slidespace page (www.slideshare.net/wpe). Alternatively, sign up for your own slideshare slidespace (www.slideshare.net) and upload the file to your own slidespace. Then, share that presentation with the WPE slideshare group (www.slideshare.net/group/wpe).
WPE-2008 welcomes participants & speakers to London
The 2008 Workshop on Philosophy & Engineering is pleased to welcome speakers and participants to the Royal Academy of Engineering in London for the opening of the workshop Monday morning, 10 November 2008(schedule as pdf here). A Google map locating the Royal Academy of Engineering is available here. Registration is scheduled from 9-9:30 am, and the workshop begins with welcoming and opening remarks at 9:30 am.

WPE-2008 to be held next week, 10-12 November 2008 (Monday-Wednesday) at the Royal Academy of Engineering, London, is pleased to post the extended abstracts for the papers to be given at the workshop (WPE-2008 Abstracts Book).
